Welcome to your new forum.
It has been created for UK residents born in the 50s and 60s. It is a place for like-minded people to discuss topics which are of interest and concern. It doesn't matter where in the world you live, providing you are/will be entitled to a UK pension and was born in the 50s (ish); we won't be checking birth certificates!
It is very important that you know that your email address is VISIBLE as part of your profile, unless you change the settings. There is nothing Three Score Plus can do about that, other than warn you.
This forum is not a campaigning site
As we drift into official retirement, the journey is fraught with worry for many of us. If the new pension age took you by surprise, lots of your savings may already have been spent, especially if you took voluntary redundancy - or left work to care for younger or older relatives - thinking your pension was not far away.
One of the aims of this site is to build up a resource of ideas, hints, tips and advice on how to successfully negotiate different aspects and phases of your life and lifestyle. It is a place to make friends.
Please do ask questions; please do familiarise yourself with the specific categories and subcategories so your comments and questions are in the correct thread.
We have very few rules, but we feel one or two are necessary. You can find our rules here: Rules and Guidance
Basically, please don't be rude or unkind - this means respecting other women's views and opinions. Some swear words can be considered rude; just be sensible and respectful. We won't tolerate discrimination or discriminatory comments whatsoever.
In time, we hope this site to be a popular and respected forum. Please encourage your friends to join.
If you have any suggestions for new categories, topics or threads, please make your request in the correct forum, it is called Suggestions.
If you have any complaints about other users, please contact Alison .
Thank you and please enjoy.
