Being left handed, sewing and knitting had me in knots .. but I'm able to crochet ... but I absolutely hate having to chain then do the first row. This is possibly my most favourite pattern for throws and scarfs ... so easy to do, you can watch tv and continue crocheting ... I like to crotchet too. This is better than a bookmark, I know who I can call on if I get stuck. Thanks!

I saw this post yesterday and it inspired me to get out a blanket I'd started crocheting last year and abandoned, I can only do one pattern and don't like the starting off bit but I enjoy it once I get going

I love to crochet too, I am right handed, but was useless at knitting until I found continental knitting. You hold the yarn in the left hand like crochet & to me it is so much easier. It might be worth looking it up on YouTube if you can crochet but not knit.

I will do Sherron I've never heard of continental knitting. I looked at the vid on youtube that mrssnickles put on and that looks like something I could do as well.
